A catholic girls school for low income families seeks volunteers on Saturday mornings in Lent to assist in a neighborhood enrichment quilting program. Up to 20 girls, 12 and under, will be participating in an 8 week project that consists of 1 hour of math/language arts followed by the creation of a group quilt. This is supported by the school and led by master quilters. No training is required, can accommodate up to 4 volunteers between the hours of 9:30 to 12:30p on Saturdays from 2/28 to 3/28. Potential to assist in other ways throughout the year depending on needs of the school.
