Marian House is a program and residence for women in transition (incarceration, previous drug use, homelessness.) The immediate service project would involve preparing Easter baskets (75-120) of food and needed items for the women and for women with children. As project progresses, group birthday dinners for clients, “Christmas in July” basket drive (linens, toiletries), and perhaps some landscaping at the four residences in the spring could be scheduled. Volunteers must be age 21 and over, no orientation training needed, at this time.
Current Projects:
Needs 50 adult Easter Baskets and 11 children’s Easter Baskets
( more than 1 groups could take this basket effort on.
The landscaping / planting date is still to be determined.
